Ignoring the Way

 

Ignoring Jesus; burning places of worship instead of refurbishing or tearing structures down in church agreement; gouging out sanctity of soul; attempting to murder or to starve Christian witness; habitually soiling, spitting on, stabbing at, breaking, ruining faithful, individual provision; subjecting even children to assault and misuse of body, and then blaming who's virtually blameless in Jesus -- and doing all through misuse or evil interpretation of God's word -- cannot bring faith in the only God we have.

Too many in today's give-me-that, rebellious generation, want to dispose of Jesus despite God telling us He is our way to living (that is, Jesus, who tells countless people to go and sin no more, whose word has saved households privately or individually -- households or families like Lydia's).

Too many go against those portions of the Old Testament that are binding in Jesus -- doing every and anything out of covetousness -- and ignore what it is to be faithful, what it is not to sin against Him as in times of old.

Too many covet what they wrongly think is sensual in Jesus, wanting foot cleansing more than real faith in Him.

Too many are holding themselves and others down in hell through poor judgment and in the name of ungodly freedom, instead of wanting to grow more toward the learning, light, and living we have in Him.

Too many are holding themselves and others down in hell, never recognizing God sees the same in daylight as at night.

Jesus, help us, today.

Give YOUR people right discernment. Help us settle each problem the devil is causing.
